Everyday Tbilisi

The old wall can still be seen in parts of Tbilisi and people have built apartments on top of the wall.  Carl is by a statue in the city by the wall.  This is our apartment building and is quite new.  We are on the second floor.  The statue of Georgians dancing and the bridge friends are in the center section of the city.  The hymn board is in the chapel of the Tbilisi Georgia Branch.  You can see the song title numbers that are in the Georgian, Russian and English hymn books.  We sing in all 3 languages at the same time.

Yerevan Lights

Armenians love the Christmas/New Years lights in Yerevan,  In the first picture I am by some little artificial trees with lights.  They look like trees in blossom in the spring.  Some new lights in city center were in the form of huge blossoms.  The highlight is the big artificial tree in Republic Square in the center of the city.  The lights change colors so the tree will appear red, and then blue and then gold.  The little tree is in our apartment and the missionary stockings on the wall.  The stockings were Christmas presents.  They have Sister Loveridge and Elder Loveridge name tags on them.
